Promoters of TAMASOMA JYOTIRGAMAYA FOUNDATION who always think about society and nation came together to form this foundation in Mumbai to spread message of social service to vast majority of underprivileged sections of society with blessings of Lord Shri Ram. Their research into causes of widespread poverty in India led to the conclusion that man made faults led to this situation. If proper modern gurukul education and reverence to Lord Ram is enabled to the masses, they will become disciplined, stronger, determined, devoid of bad habits and hence will work hard, take better decisions, earn more, take care of parents and their family and this will transform their life into happiness and prosperous. Western education without any bharatiya culture has led to the young boys and girls from middle classes resorting to bad habits of liquor, drugs and improper behaviour in society. We want to spread ancient Indian knowledge to these misled youngsters by way of classes, lectures, gurukul visits and help them to become nation builders.

We are also concerned about senior citizens, sick people, daily wage earners and migrant labour and drawing up schemes to ameliorate their miseries.
